Valve's Source engine acts as an excellent memory benchmark because it stresses the cpu rather than the graphics card.
Quake 4
Quake 4 is another standard benchmark for CPU performance and component performance. In order to ensure that we are not bottlenecked by our video card, I've run all of our tests at 1024x768 with low detail settings.
