Introduction
A little while ago, Auphanonline reviewed the Freezone CPU cooler from CoolIT systems, one of the most unique and effective coolers we have ever seen. The Freezone's effectiveness was due in large part to its incorporation of peltier technology in the form of multiple TECs (Thermoelectric coolers). As it's name suggests, the Ultra ChillTec cooler works on the same peltier principle, but where CoolIT's flagship cooler uses fluid to exchange heat for cold, Ultra's cooler uses a more traditional forced air cooling design. This design decision carries with it certain advantages and disadvantages, which will become evident during the course of this review.
